Next Meal on June 11, 3:30-6:30pm
St. Agnes Church | 22 Haigh Ave., Niantic
Meals are free of charge.

This week, Niantic Main Street partnered with volunteers and organizations to launch a drive-in, pick-up, drive-on meal program at St. Agnes Church.

Named Feeding Our Friends, the meal program is being held for those in need, first-responders and military in the East Lyme/Niantic community. Each week, the volunteers will prepare approximately 200 to 250 meals that will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. All meals will be provided free of charge. Donations are appreciated, and would be applied to future events. Picking up a meal for those with limited transportation or who cannot leave their home is greatly encouraged.

These meals will be prepared in a certified kitchen and supervised by local individuals with ServSafe Certification. All recommended precautions will be taken to ensure that all food is prepared and distributed in a safe manner, as required by Ledge Light Health District.

With our initial Feeding Our Friends effort, we want to graciously thank the following businesses for their donations: Giuliano’s Bakery, Scott’s Meat & Deli, Lillian’s Cafe, Kamp Dog, Smith’s Acres, Filomena’s, Birdseye Café and St. Agnes Church. And a special thank you to Sewing by the C for donating masks to give out.

If you have any further questions please contact Dean Kraska at 860-942-1449 or Susan Kumro at 860-625-5114.

Thank you to future Feeding Our Friends Sponsors:
